Kohrong Sea Views Bungalows

Best view you can get! The upper bungalows have a bathroom but no AC and the window has no glas. The balcony is very comfortable and provides a hammock. Breakfast is of good quality and staff was very friendly. Scooter rental is possible for USD 10 per day which already includes the petrol.

Can get noisy up there during the night since you hear the music from the whole bay. Staff is stoned all the time and really slow. If you want your room cleaned, ... you have to ask for everything, and service is overall mediocre.

Had the top bungalow with sea view. View was amazing and the sun shined on the porch in the morning where you could hang out without all of the tourists staring at you like at most of the bungalows down by the ocean. Its a bit of a walk up everytime but it is worth it. The bungalow is rustical with a hammok on the porch but there is warm water a fan and wifi plus a comfortable bed with moskito net. I left the window open during the night because up there you are all to yourself so it really wasnt an issue for me without the AC. The owner is amazingly sweet and tought me how to tie fishing knots and greeted me every day. My original plan was to stay 3 nights and i endet up staying for 9 which says it all. Thank you ( also one of the best prices i found on koh Rong)

The view was amazing, probably the best one on the island. The family that owned it were extremely nice and friendly. “Off the beaten path” vibe, but with great wifi for an island.

You need to be aware that there probably be some other creatures with you in the bungalow. And despite the fans, it was super hot.
