Kohrong Sea Views Bungalows

Amazing view, felt connected to nature. Bungalows were cool

Power came and went a bit during our stay but I believe this was an island-wide issue because of the move to electricity from the mainland. The trek to the bungalows is a mission, particularly if you have a heavy bag, you gotta do some climbing and trekkint (just as a forewarning)

Location and the manager was helpful.

WiFi and Electricity mainly switched off for a few hours in the day, a storm the night before we arrived was maybe a factor the 1st day but it was daily, the accommodation was not cleaned or sheets, towels changed in 4 days, a large infestation of ants in the toilet and no soap provided, the shower holder was broken. There was also a lot of waste plastic next to the paths down through to the beach. Disappointed as it was rated highly on Google.

I was afraid of falling something because there was a lot of holes in the floor. The tap water from the sink came out very poorly. There was no soap at all. The bathroom was dirty. There were holes in the sheets. The whole area was poorly kept in condition.

The stay was authentic, with a great view of the sea. Host was very helpful with recommendations.

It was extremely hot in our room and the power kept cutting out for the majority of the day (Although I think this was a problem with a lot of the island at the time of our stay). Be aware you are basically staying in the jungle so there are bugs everywhere when the light goes on.

The location was a bit difficult to find especially at night as i kept getting lost although there were dogs who guide you to the right direction. At 2 am, some couple walked in to my bungalow by accident - which was also a bit awkward.

The manager of the place is super sweet and helpful, and the location is ideal. The view from our bungalow was unbeattable!
