Mount Wood Ella

Beautiful view, kind and helpful staff, very tasty breakfast.

There was no hot water. Mosquito net was uncinvinient and smelly.

Very nice location and outstanding view from your room, even inside the room, because there was a glass window there. A lovely family manage it and they are so welcoming.

The hot water didn't work at all. It's a common problem in srilanka because the hot water system works with solar panels and when it's cloudy no hot water!

Very cute place. Really nice host and family.

You need a tuk tuk to go to Ella centre. They have one but they charge you for it.

Beautiful nature, wonderful host and very calm.

Very dark room with not so much natural light, could have been better with more natural light. No shampoo, but we realised this is common in a lot of hotels in Sri Lanka. A lot of insects since this is in the middle of nature, but an insect repellent plug in could have helped a bit. And last but not least, it was a bit far from the city, I highly recommend renting a scooter.

We Stayed at Mount wood Star for two nights,that was one of best experience I had in my life .the Location,Echo Logical build, Weather everything superb,Also specially I have to mention the hospitality was awesome the owner (Chandana Ayiya) wish you all the best good luck 😇❤️
