Mount Wood Ella

They host is really nice & helps you with everything. They only have two rooms, which makes you feel like you‘re alone in treehouse. Everything is out of wood and the rooms are clean. It‘s really nice to hang out on the balcony and watch the nature & hear the river. Breakfast changes every day & was delicious! Thank your for the amazing time!

Everything’s was Perfect

Excellent and kind host. Great location, marvelous landscape from the terrace. Tuk tuk 🛺 service, easy way for getting to the city centre. I highly recommend this place.

The place was squeaky clean but most importantly the staff was literally the kindest I’ve ever met. The place is absolutely stunning and the hospitality we got was exceptional. Can’t wait to be back here again.

Everything was perfect, got zero complaints

It is a very beautiful personal accommodation with a wonderful view. You can watch birds, butterflies and the small squirrels. The host and his family are super nice and helpful and have good recommendations what to do in the area. There is a private Tuk Tuk service for fair prices and super nice drivers. We felt very much at home and were sad to leave after 3 nights.

This was one of our best experience ever. This house is build by the owner, only from wood. You are completely surrounded by nature and you can hear the river. The breakfast is very good and the owner is extremly kind, he will help you with his tuk tuk for a lower price. I will recommend this acommodation to all of my friends who will come to Sri Lanka💛

WiFi is not great but works for minimum need You need transportation to get to the city center cause walking is a bit far honestly. Either Tuktuk or picme, the owner is also very nice and will bring you :-)

Amazing view and great design of the lodge merged with nature so well. But nothing would be the same without great host who really puts a smile on your face and help with everything. Ella is such an amazing place a must see
