Private jungle “Loft del Rio” river access

Tastefully designed self-contained and spacious chalet with lovely wooden terrace complete with hammock nestled inside lots of shady trees and vegetation at the bottom of a quiet valley with a small river running along the bottom of the property. Fairly open on 3 sides with welcome mosquito screens it is bright and airy and has a kitchen with basic utensils. It's in a quiet area (though be prepared for the dawn chorus of birds and animal life) so it feels like you're in the forest but with all the luxuries! No air conditioning but is well equipped with fans. It's a bit of a walk into town so would recommend a car especially for the steep hill. Very nice Italian restaurant with great views a 5 minutes walk away however. Playa Hermosa within walking distance and Costa Ricas most amazing beach Playa de la Colonia within a 10 minute drive. Only regret was not having booked a longer stay.

Definitely gave you that jungle feel. Wonderful experience for our children to be in a jungle loft with monkeys right outside. Was a little worried at first only having screens and no actual windows but it was fantastic!! Host was super nice and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful little cabin, with everything you need. In the middle of the jungle and surrounded by wildlife, yet only a short drive away from Uvita. The host is extremely friendly. We had a fantastic stay here, really a special experience. Recommended!

Immersive loft to enjoy forest. Very big house with terrace, very useful kitchen, unforgettable experience. Staff at your disposal for any need.

Absolutely everything it was fantastic. Loved being so close to nature.
