Rixile Kruger Lodge

The accommodation was absolutely amazing, so comfortable and beautifully designed. Had everything and more. Clint is an exceptional host and was very helpful on answering all my questions and tending to all our needs. Will definitely go back!

The property is closer to the Kruger gate. Also liked the fact that guests can use facilities such as bar,pool and restaurant at the Kruger Gate Hotel. The host Clint was very welcoming, always checking up on us during our stay.

My wife wanted to use the gym at the Kruger Gate hotel. However, we were not allowed as we were not guests. We were under the impression that use of hotel facilities also included the gym. I think the host needs to state this clearly on the bookings page so guests are well informed in advance. Our biggest disappointment with our cottage was that we were given old , and worn out towels

The location, the lodge was really cute and new, so close from Kruger Gate, only 5 min driver . And is a plus that you can use the services from Kruger Gate Hotel (Pool, Restaurant, Bar) this hotel is next to Rixile. The host Clint is always aware of you, anything you need he can solve your questions. The shower was really warm, the bed confortable and everything really clean. We also saw one animal in our terrace. Additional! Is super quiet, you can really rest

Everything was fine

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. Perfectly located just a few minutes from an entrance into Kruger. The lodge was equipped with everything we could need and having animals visit us in the backyard area was so wonderful. On top of that, receiving access to the Kruger Gate Hotel was a really wonderful bonus.

Absolutely outstanding place right next to the park gate. The lodge is within the Kruger Hotel grounds yet feels completely immersed in the bush — a truly special experience. The lodge itself is a perfect 10/10 — beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped down to every detail, even for cooking your own meals. The level of cleanliness is truly impressive, with the lodge cleaned daily. You can also enjoy meals at the hotel’s restaurant — we didn’t try breakfast, but the dinners were excellent. The host is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about every guest’s experience. Without any doubt, one of the best choices when visiting Kruger National Park

Great location right next to Paul Kruger Gate, so travel time to the park is minimal. Hots was tentative, with frequent communication. A perfect spot for a medium sized group. Lots of resident wildlife on your doorstep, including a resident genet.

The WiFi was intermittent, but an excuse to put the laptop / phone down

The host was very obliging and happily accommodated an early check in, diligently messaged to see if there is anything we needed or wanted during our stay, and responded to all queries promptly. The accommodation had all the necessary equipment for our stay - in the kitchen and beyond. There was also access to Kruger Gate hotel territory with bar and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and included daily cleaning. It is also located super close to the Paul Kruger gate, making Kruger park very accessible.

The road to the property is a little bit bumpy, but did not really cause us any problems.
