Tingala Lodge - Bed in the Bush

I loved the quietness and isolation. The feeling of being amongst nature is very good. The staff were excellent and even happy to light up a braai (barbecue) for my own use.

There was no major wildlife appeared however, this is nature and I totally get this. I took a wrong turning on the way out so perhaps better signage may help.

Was really refreshing. Next time, I will stay for a longer period to unwind.😀😀🥰🥰

Peter was amazing, from the pleasant welcoming to the fire prepared at night, to coffee on the deck and an excellent breakfast. We were very pleased to have the whole place to ourselves for the night (other guests were waylaid). The room was excellently made up and very comfortable.

It wasn't all that clear that you needed to self cater for the night as the road to town would be difficult in the dark if you wanted to go to a restaurant.

Hosts Rose and Peter were excellent

Maybe need a supply of drinks and nibbles to purchase

Woke up at 1am, woke he lights were on all of a sudden, the curtain rail fell, there was noise outside- a vehicle…at 1am. No idea how all this happened
