One-Bedroom Chalet

This unit was the original Coach House and has been converted into a one-bedroom unit. The loft style bedroom and bathroom which has a bath, hand shower, toilet and handbasin are on the upper level and are accessed via a steep and narrow staircase. On the private veranda guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of False Bay on the Indian Ocean while inside one can prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen and dine at a table and chairs. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa to relax and watch TV. Not suitable for the elderly/disabled/heavily pregnant woman.

The original stables which has been converted into an open-plan and self-catering cottage is perfectly suited for a couple or single person hoping to unwind on holiday. The space is bright and airy with the bedroom area on a slightly raised level which allows for wonderful views of the ocean from the bed. The bathroom is ensuite and the cottage features a private outdoor terrace in a semi private garden setting. Uninterrupted sea and garden views make this the ideal unit to destress in a quiet natural environment.

Lovely location, very pleasant.

The gate was manual and we had to lock and unlock a padlock each time we entered or departed. I know that it is being addressed at the moment so that will definitely improve the situation by use of a remote

The views over Boulder Beach was my highlight. Janine was amazing, let us do our washing, had long chats with her. Room was comfortable and had the best views from the bed

Stay was too short. Would have loved to stay a little longer but I will be back for sure

Our first impressions were country cottage quaint, like visiting a UK seaside cottage, perfect. Icing on the cake was the hotel quality bed linen & towels. Stunning. The bed with its little welcome gift of chocolate was a cute touch.

Nothing. You would be wise to check the room you book is suitable as ours would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Not a problem for us & added to the quaintness.

The location/ view was amazing. The cottage was nicely decorated, and there were lovely extra touches - fresh flowers from the garden and chocolates. Also, it was very clean inside

There was a bad smell (like eggs) in the bathroom that intermittently came and went. It would also be nice to have salt and pepper in the kitchen and something to clean the brai area with.

Amazing location, with a view to die for. Cozy and clean space. Jakes was super kind and helpful, with lots of local tips. And of course the penguins, that I could see from my bed and had to myself every morning before the beach opens to the public. There were also lots of Hyrax with their pups running around before the crowds arrive.

Die Aussicht und Nähe zu den Pinguinen ist sehr schön. Es gibt einen sicheren Parkplatz und der Manager ist freundlich.

Das Coach House ist sehr abgewohnt, die Möbel sind alle ca 30 Jahre alt und dementsprechend unbequem und muffig. Die Treppe zum Bad und Schlafzimmer ist schmal und steil und nicht für Senioren, Haustiere oder Kinder geeignet. Es gibt keine Dusche, bloß eine alte Badewanne. Alle Türen klemmen. Im Badezimmer gibt es keinen adäquaten Spiegel. Sehr hellhörig, Badezimmertür hat breite offene Spalten, Schlafzimmertür lässt sich gar nicht schließen.

Wer Pinguine beobachten möchte, kann dies in dieser Unterkunft vom Bett aus tun. Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Terrasse zum draußen Frühstücken und zu entspannen. Pinguine und Strand sind zu Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen.
