Bosky Dell on Boulders Beach

Location is great and setting is really beautiful.

We found the property very uncomfortable. The bed was too small and too hard and the living room furniture was uncomfortable too. The property describes a "steep narrow staircase" to get to the bedroom, but the final part of the staircase is more like a ladder as it is that steep. The doors dont close properly so you hear rattling all night in the wind and we had to prop a suitcase against the bedroom door as it doesn't close. The managers said if they had one of the more spacious properties empty they would have allowed us to switch - but they didn't, so we forfeited the money we already paid and checked out early. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend staying here.

It was located near the Boulders Beach and the boardwalk can be accessed through a side-door and this is so convenient if you want to visit the penguin colony. The cottage was also perfect and quiet, I was even able to make my own breakfast as the place had all the needed amenities.

No a complaint but it would be good to bring your own grocery if you are staying for a few days as the nearest town is about 10 mts drive away.

Great location, unpleasant stay.

Disappointing stay. The Cottage was very basic and overpriced for what was offered. We chose this venue for a well deserved weekend of peace and quiet as my husband has a very stressful job. Unfortunately, it was incredibly disruptive 2 days with the host screaming and shouting at her own dogs right outside our door on a regular basis which was quite nerving. The cottage window faces the sea which is great, however, the other guest on the property had no issues looking straight into our cottage from the garden which was very annoying to say the least as we had no privacy. There would have been absolutely no point in closing the curtains as the view was the only highlight of this stay. We won't be back anytime soon.

The location is unbeatable. The cottage is well equipped and staff are friendly and helpful. The dogs are adorable!

Loved the location. Less than 100m down to the beach. You have to pay to access though so bring your ID card. It is worth it though, it keeps the place clean and protected with the penguins close by. We snorkelled with our boys and it was amazing, cold but amazing! The views are endless!

It has a manual gate so you will need help opening and closing which is fine but not ideal for multiple entry/exit situations.

Great location and fantastic views. Just next to the penguins and 20 minutes drove from Cape point

This is a really special place to stay. The view of the beautiful bay is just stunning, you could just sit there and look at it all day long. Views of penguins right from your window, too! This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Cape Point Nature Reserve, plus the little towns along the way. We also did a whale watching tour and saw many humpbacks. There's also a lovely friendly orange cat that kept us company, which for us is a highlight as we were missing our cat from home :)

There's 3 dogs and 2 cats on the property, so if you don't like animals, you probably will want to find somewhere else. The door to the cottage had a large gap at the bottom, so we found lots of bugs were coming in.
