"Amazing place, great beach spot, highly recommended"

Everything was absolutely fantastic: The house surrounded by beautiful gardens, the closeness to the beach, the comfort of the beds. We loved everything about Casa Viva. Carlos was also super friendly, attentive and helpful.

Vibe Nature Beach and jungle sounds Hammock Location Beach access Incredible lush nature Fantastic service

The windows need to have a net to offer additional protection from jungle bugs . It won't take away from the vibe. Other lodges in the area have them and it feels much safer.

"Paradise"

The moment we entered we knew we would never want to leave. In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and a few steps away from the beach, a beautiful big cabin with everything we needed. Carlos the manager was great and even called us when a sloth came near the reception, the beach was fantastic, many restaurants nearby. It was a dream.

The place was perfect There is noise from the monkeys and from the waves. For us it was part of the experience, but it's something to consider if this might be an issue when booking

Best place in the region on the most beautiful spot of the best beach. Casa Viva has a beautiful garden and together with the extremely beautiful beach in front of the door it is really worth to go there. Casa Viva lodge was definitively a very good experience and we are very happy we went there. Also there are nice things to see in the region.

No Aircondition Bed could be larger for two persons. Puerto Viejo the city itself is not very beautiful, and neither is the beach there. Also it is very Crowded and rather for people who search kind of caraibean vibe and free life. And a lot of shops and small stands for tourists, Things are cheap made but everything is very expensive. Also food and restaurants. This was not really a town for us - but finally no need to go to town if you can stay in Casa Viva

Casa Viva is a magical place with an amazing staff. We were so lucky to experience it and will be back! We loved the fresh coconuts from Francisco. We had our wedding at Casa Viva and couldn’t have asked for a dreamier location or more supportive staff. Thank you Casa Viva!
