I loved the community dinner concept of getting to dine with new people everyday. I love that every day is different. Different people, meals and experiences 💯

Didn't find any shower shoes and house keeping was abit lacking.

the property is secluded and within a rural part of Rwanda and is simply magical. 1 day is simply not enough time, i recommend a min. 2 day stay so you can really rest and enjoy the property. there’s lots of nature around you and a lot of activities you can do like kayaking, massage, a community walk and bird watching so there’s plenty that you can do while also ensuring you relax. the food was really amazing, especially the communal dinner, the bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! honestly there’s nothing to fault - it was the perfect stay.

the team is so amazing, but tend to take some time to respond to messages on bookings.com so just expect some delays. they offer hotel transfers which I recommend you use, just ensure you finalize this well in advance of your travel.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, and I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. The room itself was beautiful, with a serene view of the lake and surrounding landscape that made our stay even more relaxing. We appreciated the comfortable bed, the modern amenities, and the overall atmosphere of the room. One of the highlights of our stay was the idea of communal dining, which allowed us to meet other guests and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. The food was exceptional, and we enjoyed every moment of the experience. In addition to the communal dining, the hotel offered a variety of activities that kept us entertained throughout our stay. From tennis to kayaking, we had plenty of options to choose from and loved every moment. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway (romantic or otherwise). The staff, the room, the dining experience, and the activities all exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely give it a 5-star rating.
