Inn Waimea Kauai

Location near stores, ambiance, lots of space, fridge, dishes. Charm. Great isolation between rooms. Love southwest Kauai.

Television was difficult to use. Cooling was nice, but took a little while to cool the extra room.

The rental was in a great location very small quiet town and very close to the Waimea Canyon highway. The bed was comfortable and pictures on the site are accurate and was a really great deal.

A must for this property is block out curtains…what they currently have just changes the colour of the sunlight and doesn’t stop it coming in at all. It wasn’t what I would call acceptably clean. Bits on the floor I could feel on my bare feet. I dropped something on the floor and went to pick it up and under the bed hadn’t been vacuumed in I couldn’t tell you how long.

Room was dusty, sheets were stained. Thank goodness we bought our own. A chronic druggie kept trying to come in and hung outside our room. The smell in the place was dusty and stinky, old. Everything was just old and curtains rusted, bathrooms dirty. I do not recommend this place.

No stove, everything has to be microwaved. Provided bar fridge only, not much room for groceries.

Great spot for exploring the Canyon. Property a stone throw from a black sand beach with a beautiful sunset. Best shaved ice on the island within a walking distance.

The bathtub is not only far from hygienic, it’s also dangerous to get in and inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. The kettle once available in the common area was taken for over a day - each room should have a kettle. Last but not least - the roosters kept us awake from 4am, which was way too early even if we wanted to start our day early considering the sunrise wasn’t until 6:30.

Great location close to the beach and restaurants in Waimea.

The building is old which gives it character. The showers could use some updating, however it was good value for the money and location.

Walkable area with neat shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach!!!! Spacious room with comfortable bed - you can hear the waves all night. Would absolutely recommend if there’s availability-amazing value!
