Helpful friendly staff, convenient free parking and nearby attractions. Room was a great size.

Limited cooking abilities (no oven).

Closest Location to sailing excursion out of Port Allen, 7 miles away, that we wanted for just an overnight stay. Very reasonable. Some little restaurants close for breakfast

Air conditioner was a little noisy. Probably should have turned off and open window screens for the cool breeze.

Cute house, nice location, huge "Banana" room!!

We were very grateful for the ability to leave our bags at the office while we went on a hike.

The reality of the room definitely do not meet the pictures. The windows were so dirty you could not look through them, there was masking tape on one of them to hold it together, and in particular, the bathroom, was incredibly gross, with black mold and again, the glass so stained you could barely look through them.

Good WiFi and flexible approach to late checkin

Location

No kitchenette, no paper towels, no tissues, bad location for coffee maker, blinds were broken, TV in a poor location while in bed. First entry should be self locking when you leave, door to Taro room lock is mis-aligned, could use a good deep cleaning and better refurbishing rather than what looks like patch work. No staff on site. If you’re not available on the weekend then have the keys available earlier for pickup. Maybe a lock box that requires a code. Doesn’t seem like the owners care enough about preserving this building. Maybe that’s why there is no cancellation on reservations.
