Inn Waimea Kauai

Location, location, location. Very glad to have a sitting area and a refrigerator in room too.

Super dirty right at the edge of bed and under the bed. Parking is under a huge tree (other side was full and street was taken). So LOTS and lots of bird poop on the car. But these are minor. Overall really liked our stay.

I liked it was very close to the beach and that the place was quiet.

The neighborhood was not great and there were few dining and grocery shopping options in the area.

Everything was amazing! The position in front of the ocean and behind all the service you need. The house it’s so beautiful, it makes you feel part of Hawaii

Location was perfect.

Cleanliness could have been better in the bathroom , but other than that it was a comfortable peaceful stay.

Nothing.

Reservation was almost like a bait and switch. Expected a cottage with a restaurant on property, etc. Instead, the directions were terrible. We finally found the check in office down the road, but no one was there. Our key was hanging on the wall outside, but there were no directions on how to find the "Inn." We asked many people and drove around the dilapidated area looking for it. Finally, a local gentlemen said to try going up the road to a yellow house. (Our key was labeled "banana.") Homeless people roaming around. We finally figured out which door to enter. The room was in a house with other "suites." A window a/c was on, but the unit was hot. There was no beach access. Staying here would be scary. We left and found a hotel in another town!

The suite was very spacious and our check in/out process was very easy. The property was close to several restaurants (we liked JoJos shave ice and Da Booze Place) and very close to Wimea Canyon. The AC worked well and overall the suite was clean.

The roosters outside were really noisy starting at 5:30am. Of course there’s nothing that the owners could do about it that, but people should know that before they book.

For us check-in was easy to find, we had no problem at all! Also the room was exactly like in the pictures, everything was clean and nice! They also have Hawaiian coffee for free in the room, a coffee machine and utensils! Had everything we needed! Price-quality for Kauai perfect!

Good Location, plenty of space

Worn out bathroom. Nothing to cut bread with. No plates. Not enough equipment for breakfast.
