Contato com a natureza, tem portal para o Deserto surpreendente. Café da manhã muito bom. Limpeza. Acesso é mais afastado do centro de San Pedro Atacama - estávamos de carro e isso não nos atrapalhou.

Não tem ar condicionado e nem frigobar no quarto. Não tinha copo no quarto para tomar água. Banheiro com banheira escorregadia e sem barras de apoio. Chuveiro de manejo complexo: água de temperatura instável.

It has some rustic chic, like nice tiles on the bathroom floor, and the room you eat breakfast in was nice. Breakfast was good, and they provided free water.

Location is a 25 minute walk with no lights from town. Room has no fan and no a/c and was oppressively hot. Windows have no fly screens and there is standing water nearby, so you share the room with a number of mosquitos and spiders. Owners speak no english. We asked about horseriding and they just said "no, full" which was a lie, I think he just couldn't be bothered. Taxis are 7000 pesos each way, and hard to get. No uber. I'd say don't stay here, pictures look great but tours won't pick you up from here and it's not worth the money.

Juan is a lovely host. The Lodge is amazing, horses, Lamas, chicken, dogs and cats - and Sebastián, the donkey. We loved every minute here. The rooms are wonderful, clean and spacious. The breakfast is very good and the lady preparing everything is very nice. The breakfast room which doubles as a community "living room" is a real gem. The Lodge is a 25 min walk from the village, so one is away from all the touristy hustle and bustle and can enjoy nature and calmness. The premises count with a door which brings you from the lush garden directly to the desert and the cordillera de la Sal - like a portal to another world. Absolyamazing. We will.come.back for sure!
