Encanto Arenal lodge

The general location and the host were great. I was put off by my room facing the parking lot while rooms on the other side faced Arenal volcano!!! The shower in my original room leaked making noise. She offered another room the next day which was fine. Breakfast was included but was offered in the restaurant next door with a grumpy host who complained about his relationship with the lodge owner. While the location of the lodge at top of the hill was great getting there was not! It took me about an hour asking neighbors for help to find the lodge. They did not know. Finally I had to ask the host to come get me!

A funcionária da recepção é maravilhosa. O tempo todo, foi atenciosa e disponível para nossas necessidades. O quarto conta com uma minicozinha que ajudou no preparo de refeições rápidas. Além disso, há uma boa cozinha fora do quarto totalmente equipada.

Wir hatten einen viertägigen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Helen aus der Rezeption war bei allen Fragen hilfreich. Unser inklusiv Frühstück nebenan war sehr schmackhaft und der Service von Jasmin sehr aufmerksam. Und das alles mit Blick auf den Arenal!

Die Aussicht

Es hat sehr modrig gerochen und es war sehr viel Schimmel an den Wänden. Sehr teuer für das was man bekommt.

La vue et l’emplacement, à eux seuls, valent le détour. L’endroit est très sécuritaire et n’est pas trop loin de La Fortuna. Les espaces communs sont appréciables : télévision, jeux, bancs et hamacs pour relaxer. Le logement est simple, mais la vue est absolument sublime.

En revanche, plusieurs points négatifs sont à souligner. La propreté laissait à désirer : la salle de bain n’était pas bien nettoyée, le pommeau de douche était complètement moisi et le bain à remous était sale. Après l’avoir rempli et démarré les jets, des saletés et de la moisissure en sont sorties. De plus, le lit était vraiment inconfortable

La vista es espectacular, el personal super amable. Excelente lugar
