Amandara Hills Kandy

The staff were so friendly and helpful and Kalani helped to book a dinner reservation in Kandy. The view was lovely.

The only thing was getting down from the top of the hill to the reception, it would be helpful with a railing as it is quite steep.

Very helpful and lovely host, large rooms, and homely. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast.

The girl at the reception was super sweet and helpful and went out of her way to provide assistance whenever she could. Our room was of a good size, clean and the shower stayed hot throughout, which was not always the case at other hotels we stayed at on the rest of our trip!

Location was quite inconvenient as it was high up in the hills away from Kandy city centre. We arrived quite late in the evening and had to order food delivery as there was no onsite restaurant.

Really nice view, very clean accommodation, good swimming pool. Very nice staff.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Nice pool (not heated but good enough). They provided driver accommodation FOC. There are reasonably sized fridges in the rooms so we could keep some breakfast food in them and eat it in the dining area.

Although it says a restaurant is on the property, there isn't. And restaurants are a tuk tuk ride away.

Amazing view, big rooms, ber nice staff

Lovely welcome and very peaceful location. Room was clean and good sized. The pool was lovely albeit small. It’s too far to walk from Kandy but not too much to get a tuk tuk. Our host was really helpful and responsive to all our questions and booked us an onward taxi.

The breakfast was a bit uninspiring and cold, the Sri Lankan breakfast was probably better than the English version!
