The entrance to the lodge was beautiful , and so we knew we were in for a great stay. The receptionist greeted us with a big welcoming smile and lots of fun ! We had a tent on the island which only has 3 tents and what a special stay . You get to walk across a swinging bridge ( think Indiana Jones ) and that’s where our tent was along with the restaurant . The tent had a kitchenette , big bathroom and awesome deck we loved sitting at listening to the hippies outside our room . Just remember to book in for meals as it’s mainly self cater

The location, the staff, the bush-bar. Simply outstanding.

Beautiful chalet with river view and lovely inside. Breakfast and dinner are served on the deck, looking out on the majestic Kavango River.

To get to the tents and deck, one has to cross a hanging bridge. It's great fun for some, I found it challenging 😀

Tolle Lage direkt am Kavango. Toll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Küche und Grillmöglichkeit im Freien. Man hat die Möglichkeit sehr gutes Fleisch an der Rezeption zu kaufen. Die Hängebrücke und der Inselpfad sind ein Highlight.

Wlan nur in der bar auf der Insel. Keines im Zimmer - perfekt zum Abschalten.

Beautiful location on river with the bar offering great views. We had a lovely dinner which we booked in advance.

This is a great place but more geared for self-catering. They do offer dinner and breakfast but you need to book prior to arrival.

The setting and the facilities are exceptional
