The location was good for us to break our journey Nice to see the animals from the room

The room was cold when we arrived, I know it was winter but the heating could have been put on earlier as we had booked in. The window in the bathroom didn’t close, hence cold air blowing in all the time. The actual catch was missing. We were moved to a different room once I pointed this out. You had to order your meal for the evening when you arrived including dessert and the time you wanted to eat. It was a restaurant so it was something we did not expect to have to do. We both had the pork chops as a main and that was very good. The cheese platter I ordered was the worst I’ve ever seen. Laughing cow cheese triangle, a cheese slice still in the plastic wrapper and some cream cheese spread in a little dish. 1 strawberry a couple of grapes and a dish of sweet chilli sauce from the bottle.

Due to flood related road damage delays I arrived at the lodge late, in the dark, no fuel left in the car. The owner of the property helped sort the entire matter and all ended well. Thank you.The manager Bongi was awesome. The room was great. Clean. Saw alot of game during my unplanned night drive. Awesome place. Will go back again.

Lodge was great in all aspects.

The place was beautiful and the staff friendly. The food was outstanding. It was the best food out of all the places that we stayed in, on our trip of 15 nights We stayed 1 night and it was very peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Would definitely book again if in that area.
