Star Dam Lodges

I've stayed at Star Dam previously, and was so good that we had to come back. Accommodation is brilliant, staff are so efficient and friendly, views from the lodge is beautiful. It really is a piece of paradise.

Wonderful location for a weekend

Amazing layout and decor. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Great staff. We will definitely be back!

We suggest a muffin pan included in the kitchen as you have almost everything else 😊 and perhaps a pair of oars for the boat. The battery wasn’t very strong so if it had died the fishermen would have been a bit stuck 😊

The location takes your breath away when you enter and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. From arrival you instantly feel very well taken care of and comfortable. There’s a fire lit for you as well in the evenings which is such a wonderful touch! We would have stayed longer if I could have.

It was beautiful. Very clean. Staff very helpful, as well. Well worth the money paid for the weekend.

The road is quite bad (especially with the rain), and there was no wifi which was an issue as there is no cellphone network in the area.

Beautiful place. Peaceful and private Unit is new

The DSTV is a limited pacakge, could not watch main sports channels. All units but our one have canoes / small boats Unit is not 100% built, still minor works to be done.

The house is big and spacious.

The house was not clean. There was hair on pillows and in the shower. There were spiders everywhere, even on the bedding. We arrived at the property late but couldn’t get a hold of anyone in order to find out where we would find the keys, even after we left we needed to talk to someone at admin but they never answer the phones.
