Everything was so nice. It is the second time we go there this year. The staff is really friendly, the sauna and the ciubăr are really nice and relaxing. Food is super delicious and plenty. It was really a relaxing trip. The room view is breathtaking. It was amazing to sit in the bed and enjoy the view of Vf Toaca. Incredible. The owner did a great job with revonaving the caban. Can't wait to come back again! Worths its money!

Everything it's exceptional. The building is bran new, austrian style, location is fabulous - splendid views over the surrounding mountains and also towards the Ceahlau peak. Rooms are very very big, tastefull decorated, and you can benefit from a homemade product breakfast (owners have their own farm and the meat products and also the dairies are homemade and taste like once upon a time, in childhood) and also from a very generous and tasty 3 course (drinks also - wine, beer, soda) dinner prepared by a masterchef, all included in room rate. Facilities acces - jacuzzi and sauna is also included in the price and also great. You really feel like being in an Tirol style resort; in the morning, the beautiful terraces are full of hikers that stop by to have a break on their way to different trails. Trails to Dochia, Toaca, Duruitioare waterfall, Durau town, are accesibile from there.

Fantanele Cabin is a nice clean hotel with friendly young staff. It might seem too expensive at the beginning, but the view, the rooms and the food will be worth it. The breakfast is good, the same every morning, but with plenty of options to chose from: vegetables, meat, cheese, eggs, butter, jam....etc The dinner is quite nice. You have several options to chose from (for starters, soups, main courses, deserts, drinks, etc) and everything I’ve tried was very well prepared. The view is astonishing. This is the main reason you would hike for more than an hour to get to the cabin. I had a room facing the hotel main terrace and the mountain panorama, which was amazing.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it because I like hiking but to get the view, you need to work for it. From the parking log is an 1h-1h15’ trip to the cabin, depending on how many breaks you take. The trip is mostly climbing (ascension). From Durau city I would say you get to 1h30’.

Everything was very new and clean, the hot shower and good food was amazing after an hour's hike up the mountain. The view was amazing.
