this was the most perfect accommodation! the house is great and had everything in it that we needed, mosquito net, hot shower, very comfortabel bed and a hammock in front of the house. the hosts were very friendly and responded really quickly. they are passionate about their little stay and you can directly see that! they come and welcome you together and also set you off together. they arranged everything quickly and also gave information about how they were being as ecological friendly as possible. there is a lounge area where you can hang out together if you’d like and constant availability of water, tea and coffee. the lodge is 7 minutes (scooter ride) away from the center, we rented a scooter there which was very convenient. but you can always ask for a tricycle ride and they will fix it for you within the minute! Breakfast is great and they come and bring it to you at your own lodge.

The bamboo huts and shared hut were amazing. Beautiful to look at, comfortable to stay in and i loved the feel of it on my bare feet. Also, i had back pain from the previous hostel bed and this one solved that right away, super comfy bed. The little area they’ve cultivated looks gorgeous too, there’s a real staying in nature vibe that was delicious after coming from Manila and Cebu city… The hammocks on the top deck were perfect to relax in. Angie and Simon were the best hosts we could’ve ever asked for!!! They made our stay here incredible. So kind and welcoming. They came to chat with us every day while we were in the common area and gave us golden tips for activities, prices, restaurants and just shared their travel experiences and listened to our stories. We rented scooters for our stay through them, which was perfect for exploring and going’s into town. The place is a little further away from everything, so there’s peace and quiet, and the scooters were quite necessary for getting around (could’ve also taken a tricycle every time though).

A little thing that would’ve been nice is if the bathroom and shower of the ‘dorm’ room was accessible from inside the room. It wasn’t too bothersome though :)

This was a spectacular stay! The lodge was awesome and felt like something out of a movie, the staff were awesome and spoke to us about sustainable activities to do locally and were really knowledgeable and passionate 😁 the semi outdoor shower was cool and the fact that they had friendly pets to pat was just perfect 😁 I didn't think it would be my thing, but the eco lodge has converted me! Thanks so much, if I'm bakc in moalboal I will try to stay for sure if you're not osld out already!

Was a tad remote, but the owners put us in touch with a local tricar driver that was always prompt, and didn't overcharge us. The remoteness is actually a positive, the sounds of nature are much nicer than the sounds of horns 😁

An interesting experience for sure! Clean and relaxing space with a beautiful surrounding. The owners who live on the premises are able to provide you with contacts for scooters, activities like canyoneering, tips on transportation and where to explore. Breakfast was nice and communal area (kitchen, hammocks) was clean. Open roof showers are wonderful too, was able to see a full blanket of stars above. Definitely recommend zip-lining and canyoneering at Kawasan Falls, the guide was great fun and the whole experience was very wholesome.

A weather-related issue though - things like your wet clothes might not be able to dry when it's rainy.

I had one of the best accommodation experiences on my trip to Asia. The place is beautiful and great located in a secluded green area that offers serenity just a few minute's ride from the city of Moalboal. The surroundings are mettticulsy well made, with lots of green space and a great lounge area providing a hammock to each guest.. The room was made with natural materials and it felt like sleeping in nature, hearing all the sounds of birds and local flora was incredible. Everything is made with environmental concern and the owners have a great concern about sustainability. Would like to come back to this little place of heaven on earth!!
