Punakaiki Treehouse Limited

Liked the idea of a treehouse but we were under the treehouse which was a bit dark.

We didn't like the darkness. Couldn't sit outside as you were under a deck.

Beautiful peaceful location and well equipped studio with lovely balcony.

Nice location amongst the trees and well equipped.

A door to one of the rooms was really jammed and hard to open and close. The room on the lower floor is quite dark and the main view is straight onto the car park but it depends what you want function wise.

The bathroom & shower were great.

The dampness was disappointing.

Great location. Close to pancake rocks. Nice short walk to the beach/cliffs. Very good shower and free laundry. We loved staying here.

Great location, nice outdoor space and all as described. Comfortable bed.

Bathroom is a bit small, not a problem for a short stay.

De locatie is prachtig. Midden in het regenwoud en op loopafstand van de mooie kust.

Het huis was erg vochtig. Nadeel is dat je niet kunt luchten omdat er dan veel muggen binnenkomen. Horren zijn er niet en ook geen airco.

Die Lage mitten im Wald ist schön und nicht zu weit weg von Pancake Rocks

1. Die Wohnung Miro hat total muffig gerochen. 2. Die Wohnung war total feucht und teilweise schimmelig. 3. Der Luftentfeuchter hat die Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht genug senken können und den muffigem Geruch nicht entfernt. Der Entfeuchter war so laut, dass man damit nicht schlafen konnte. 4. Der Baum der mitten durch die Terrasse ging, war so morsch und schwankte so hin und her und schien einsturzgefährdet. Dies hätte die Terrasse und ggf. dann auch das Haus beschädigt. Es ist meines Erachtens lebensgefährlich hier zu übernachten. Außerdem war es so laut, das schlagende Geräusch gegen die die Terrasse (51 Dezibel), dass ich die Nacht im Auto verbracht habe. Zudem die Gefahr eines Einsturzes. 5. Der Eigentümer hat weder auf die Anrufe von uns noch von Booking reagiert und keine Kompensation angeboten. Fazit: ich warne hier zu übernachten! Das war die schlimmste Unterkunft die wir jemals auf unseren Reisen hatten

Its style over substance for amount you pay everything looks fancy but not practical. Basin is so small you cannot wash your face or clean teeth without getting the floor wet, there is no toilet mat either for cold floor. Basin bench is so small cannot put your toiletries bag on it. Nobody to assist for anything. Absolutely, no supplies other than milk, we have had full spreads in places we paid less for. Would not recommend.
