"Don’t stay here!"

2.0

Never say here… unprofessional and rude manager who is also the owner and lies about it. Not updated.. dirty bedding… only a frig in the room… not even a microwave. Continental breakfast is juice and a granola bar. Great pictures.. not what is really here. Looks like a 1960or 70’s place with band aids to fix things.

"Never coming back."

4.0

The front desk lady was very welcoming and accommodating. We liked the pool, hot tub and sauna.

We paid the price of a four-star hotel for a less than a two-star standard. It was quite shocking to be honest. If it wasn't for a pool and hot tub, the price would be outrageous. It was a bit like travel in time to the 1980s with the price of 2020s. And you are charged by additional people in the room (i.e. your kids)! The hotel needs an update: TV and shower barely working. Breakfast in the room, while a nice touch, consisted of granola bars and tropicana juice. We came on a day when weather changed so there was no skiing and we looked forward to hanging out at the bar at least, but the bartender left at 8pm shortly before we arrived.

"Poorly maintained and totally overpriced"

4.0

The lodge is very close to the Killington resort; on the first day, we simply walked to the ski rental across the parking lot. The bar area is nice, but it opens late and closes quite early, so we didn't get much out of it.

The place is very poorly maintained and totally overpriced. After the 10% Booking.com discount, we paid about $1700 for a 3-night stay (right after Christmas). We chose the "Cascades Lodge" mostly because of the pool and hot tub. The pool area smells very bad, and is only open from 9am, so no swimming in the morning. The tap water in our room had a horrible salt-water-chlorine-generator kind of taste. The carpets are worn, there are stains on the ceiling; in our bathroom, some of the grout in between tiles was missing. The beds make a lot of noise when you turn around. The "light continental breakfast" is a few granola bars and some bottles of juice. That would be okay at $100 per night, but surely not at close to $600 per night! We will not stay there again.

"Pleasant"

6.0

Location is perfect. Awesome to have an indoor pool and hot tub to entertain the kids. Staff is friendly. Simple and convenient.

It's a budget hotel at a premium price. The beds are truly terrible. It should be illegal for hotels to supply mattresses this uncomfortable.
