The staff were amazing, the trips they offer are great and the location is beautiful.

As far as the accomodations go, I'd give it a 10/10. Surrounded by the peace and quiet of the forest, I found the 80s aesthetic charming, the cabin was very comfortable, and I was warm at night under the duvet. The main area is very cozy and pleasant to spend time in. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The owner apparently wrote a book about his experience in Thailand and you can read it there, I only had time to read a bit and it was really engaging. However, I booked specifically because I wanted to go caving, but it seems they only run the tours if you come in a group.

If you come alone, it's possible you won't be able to do any of the tours. They only run them if they have enough people. No effort is made to actually gather enough guests to do the tours, you have to go around yourself and ask other guests if they want to join. There isn't even a board where you can write your name to show that you're interested. There were plenty of other guests there but no one I asked was doing any tours. Based on their website, I was under the impression that that's the point of this lodge, so I left feeling super disappointed. The Tam Lod cave is 5 minutes from the lodge, but the tour of that took less than an hour and was just a run of the mill walk through the cave with a 5 minute bamboo raft ride. The restaurant was pretty expensive for what you get.

The location is exceptional, right in the middle of the jungle. The amenities are rustic and beautiful. The staff is helpful in their caver breakfast was awesome.

The Cave Lodge was beautiful and the staff were extremely kind. It was great value for money and the food was delicious, especially the freshly baked fruit muffins and local curry! The Lodge has a huge dining/chill area which we hung out in for hours. It was a great stop off point for us, as we did the Mae Hong Son loop and after lots of driving wanted somewhere to stay before going to the caves the next day. Absolutely recommend this place !

The atmosphere is perfect in the nature ,unic good food location is in the jungle relax for few days. Thing to do around.
