Beautyfull place, Family Atmosphere

Sooooo nice and welcoming people here!!! I felt home away from home and had the feeling like staying with friends :-)... Quiet and well located place, cute bungalows in a big green garden with different sitting areas and a badminton-field where you can play together... so much fun! Comfy bed and hot water shower. Good pancake (less oily than on other places). Don't hesitate to book here, if you wanna stay at a place with a unique atmosphere! I was enjoying a great time, here - thanks to everybody!

The staff is friendly The resort is very cute and situated near the canyon and the the "great wall". The wifi was weak but it worked just enough Hot shower :)

Cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved Rooms are humid but I guessed that not their fault Telkomsel sim card network is weak, because you are near the canyon (network varies from 0 to 3 sticks), but fortunately the wifi was just ok. The bed was way to short. If you are tall, be prepared to have your calves and feet sticking outside the bed ;) A bit of street noise, but during the night, it's ok. Overall, the comfort is rather basic for our usual standard, but it was just ok.

Het personeel was echt geweldig, allemaal super lief en uitnodigend. Je mocht fruit plukken van de bomen om te eten en in de namiddag speelde iedereen van het personeel badminton en vroegen ze ons altijd mee. We hebben een tour gedaan door Bukittinggi en de jungle en allemaal lokale dingen gezien en mensen ontmoet. De locatie is prachtig met de aapjes en de natuur. Het hutje is van buiten heel mooi, van binnen vrij basic maar je hebt ook niet zo veel nodig want het is super fijn om buiten te zitten. Ook geen last gehad van insecten of iets. Wij hadden een huisje geboekt voor 4 ook al waren we met z’n tweeën en het personeel stond er op dat we ook 4 ontbijt gerechten kregen wat heerlijk was en zo lief. Wij hebben onze reis nog niet echt gepland en elke keer dachten ze met ons mee en brachten ze ons zelfs naar bijvoorbeeld een plek om bustickets te halen of gingen ze mensen voor ons bellen.

Alleen een tip voor als je komt: het is beter om te slapen met oordopjes of iets want het is best luid (vooral aapjes die op het dak van het huisje springen om fruit uit de bomen te halen)

Niets

Vieze kamer, onafgewerkt. Slecht ontbijt, slecht internet,snachts 5 uur bezig geweest met een vlucht te boeken , niet gelukt. Elders wel. Ik wilde meteen weg, maar er zat een hek om heen, erg beklemmend. Uiteindelijk hebben ze me wel een andere kamer aangeboden, die was wat beter en schoner, als je het onderlaken optilde waren er wel veel vieze vlekken. Locatie is te ver weg, ik rijd geen scooter dus ben vaak lopend gegaan 20 minuten.

Sehr schöner Garten (was frische Maracujas einschliesst!), sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Gemütliches Restaurant (Riesen-Bildschirm, falls man gerade ein Spiel sehen möchte o.ä.) und günstig gelegen. (Etwas Aufstieg zur Stadt, schneller Zugang zum Eingang in die Schlucht / „Chin. Mauer“.)

Nothing

We had to cut our trip short because the hotel was extremely dirty. The worst part was being woken up at 6am by a group of guests who started playing loud music, singing karaoke and holding what seemed like a religious gathering inside the hotel. It felt like it was arranged with the staff, and we couldn’t believe nobody warned us or stopped it. On top of that, the WiFi was non-existent and there was no mobile network in the room, which made it impossible to even use our phones. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place has good reviews. They did reimburse part of the money, but only after asking us not to leave a bad review — which says a lot about how this place operates. Complete scam.
