Lepêllê Lodge

We enjoyed the view, sound of the river and the animals - especially the bush babies.

The place is so refreshing, it was raining on our first day but eventually the rain stopped…we saw few animals on our way out , giraffes, monkeys, tortoise 🐢 ect

The location is very bad, and the road is horrible. Was stuck on the property with flat tires and no available help unless you arrange it yourself. If the location were not so remote, I could have arranged transport and still done my work for the day. Because of the location, I could not find any Uber, Bolt, or anything, and lost a day's work and income.

The fact that this is described as if it is almost in Burgersfort and easily accessible, which it was not.

A little bit of a drive to get to the property. I saw so many animals just to get to reception and on my way out: herds of buck, monkeys, baboons, wild boars and so many birds. The rooms and restaurant had wonderful ambience. I was blown away by dinner. Props to the chef Frans 👏 Looking out from my balcony I finally found a space to look out at nature without artificial lights shining in my eyes. I have been searching for such a place for years. I stayed in the Loerie room which is at the edge of the property looking on over Spekboom river and the mountains. The property was gorgeous and I felt like I was cocooned by nature, yet at the same time the luxury and class was evident in the service and amenities. .thank you so much for hosting me .

Stunning location. Quiet yet with all one needs including good WiFi. Bonus of spotting quite a bit of wildlife on the road to the lodge.

The place is beautiful and the food is good, though we didn't get options

The entrance to the place is terrible for small cars. 5-7kms of gravel. The water pressure of the toilet is terrible
