Great location by a river - loads of birds and other wildlife. Loved the outdoor bathroom and the veranda with hammock and appreciated the fresh coffee and fridge in the room. We really enjoyed the river trip up to the Nicaraguan border especially that the boat picked us up right outside our cabin.

Barhroom very beautiful… Lots of birds right at the lodge. Besutiful surroundings. Nice people.

Loved this little hotel, rooms were located right on the river, with a little verandah area so you could spend time emersed in nature. Heliconias flowers attracted humming birds right next to where you sat. We had an outdoor shower, which was fun. Erica and Frances were helpful and kind. We also enjoyed the boat trip down the Rio San Carlos and were amazed by the variety of animals and birds seen. A great place to spend a couple of days 😁

Make sure you pack insect repellant, you are very much immersed in nature 😀

The staff is very friendly and engaged, the view and the fresh air flow on the patio and the terace is really nice.

All the outdoors feels. We only stayed one night and unfortunately the rain preventing us from doing the rainforest hike, but none the less we loved the stay. The outdoor bathroom / shower area was fantastic, as was the decking which looked out over the forest and river. Breakfast was great as well.
