Lapantan Paradise

We spent 3 nights at lapantan paradise. And indeed it is is a little paradise located directly above a small valley of terrace rice fields. The view from the rooms are breathtaking. In order to get to the homestay, there is a 200 m dirt way that you can do only walking or with a motorbike. But no worry, the owner comes to the main road to look for you and the luggages. The homestay is ideally located with a lot of potential hikes to do directly from the homestay. In our case, we rent also motorbikes directly at the homestay in order to get lost along the roads of the different valleys. The owner are super sympathics and cook delicious meals. Nam was a really cool host. We spent one day doing a motorbike tour with him and really enjoyed! Breakfast and all the meals are delicious. Property is very special because of it’s location; views from the room ara amazing and all the surroundings are spectacular. On our last day we went walking nearby and wow! Everything was clean and well taken care of. It’s a very small place with few rooms, and this makes it even more special.

We liked everything. One little thing: for us, the mattress was a bit tough.

Great location, great view, cute owners and staff. Exceptional for retreats if you don't want to visit too many locations.

The only thing is that the road to get there is a bit hard to navigate and too narrow, we found it hard to ride a motorcycle on that path. Also the wifi signal is weak in our room.

We loved our stay. The hosts were most welcoming- felt like we were welcomed into their home. Giang is an excellent cook. The room and ensuite was perfect. We loved out stay

The road to the property is narrow but it is part of the charm.

We had such a nice time at Lapantan Paradise, would recommend to anyone. Nice calm place with beautiful tracking around. The view from the room is amazing, the food that they are serving to. Thanks to the Nam family for such a nice stay.

Fabulous location just above some amazing rice terraces, beautiful view from your bedroom window and porch, comfortable room, Ms Giang’s cooking is exceptional and very affordable, and food can be served in the pretty little restaurant, or the lovely garden, or even in your room if you like. You can walk around a spectacular rice terrace valley starting from the entrance of the beautifully kept garden. Mr Nam can also arrange motorbike rental if you want views of the other valleys. Many of the local people still wear their traditional costumes.

Make sure to research carefully when the rice growing season is in this region if you want green or yellow photos.

Stunning location high in the mountains on edge of rice paddies.... Lapatan Paradise is beautifully constructed with great attention to detail...designed by Nam our host. Nam and his wife Giang welcomed us warmly, picking us up by bike for the short ride to the homestay. Giang made delicious local food, and Nam guided us on foot and by scooter in the surrounding countryside. Our bungalow was charming, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We slept so well! 'Hidden gem' is such a cliche but Lapantan Paradise truly is one. We plan to return next year!

It's a 7-8hr bus ride to get there....but well worth it!
