Lapantan Paradise

The food made by Nam's wife was fabulous.

The owner's 9 year old son, Minh, led us trekking to the stream and rice patties. He also came with us to take photos of the famous rice paddies. Amazing Homestay!

Hot water system. The water was hot enough for a shower, but the very weak water pressure made it impossible to do so. Best you could do was to clean your body by letting the water dripped on it and not washing your hair. However I noticed this was probably how local people set up the shower system here: connecting the showerhead directly to the sink instead of having a separate set for it. Solving this issue would give the place great advantages compared to others. Also the room is not heated. Having one or two heating lamps ready for guests to borrow when needed would be great.

This homestay exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome to the send off, Nam and his wife made what was a good stay great. They met us at the bus station and brought us to their place with dinner ready to go. Nam's wife Xen is an incredible chef and made us delicious meals. I had come with an idea of things I wanted to see and do, and Nam went through them with me, adding additional recommendations or telling me what wasn't worth it. On one day, there were a few things I wanted to see, and Nam and the next door neighbour made time to give us a motorcycle tour all around the province so I could see everything on my list plus things they thought would be great (and they were right)! I cannot believe how much Nam and Xen (and their neighbour) went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible stay. Not to mention, the home is quite peaceful with lots of farm animals around! We already miss this family!

The place is really a Paradise, the owners are great, and the food the landlady cooked for us was amazing! Not to speak about the surroundings, so beautiful!

Everything was perfect, apart one tiny small thing. The rooms are not heated and we went there during winter, so it might get a bit cold in the rooms. Anyway sleeping is still great as the duvets are very warm.

The location is mesmerising, food was authentic Vietnamese and so delicious, hosts were super sweet, kind and helpful!

I loved the location, tranquility and comfort. The host are amazing and the service is one of the best i have experienced.

This was honestly the best homestay we had in Vietnam during our motorcycle tour! We got welcomed so heartwarming and felt like home up from the first Moment. We got the best food cooked doesn’t matter if breakfast, lunch or dinner - it was the best food we had in Vietnam! We liked our stay so much that we also extended for on more day (if we would have had more time then probably not just for one day!). This is a real secret paradise and if you have the chance to come and spend some time here, definitely do it! We would always come again, this place with it’s heartwarming people will always stay in our mind and heart! Thank you for this unforgettable time!
