1. The owners Maria & Ingo treated us like Family. They were warm and welcoming. 2. The house was surrounded with trees, birds chirping in the morning, and it just helped us feel like we are on vacation. 3. The house had basic amenities that you need. Nothing fancy, but everything was nicely kept and was very cute. 4. Thanks for the Ukulele & CD player. We had lots of fun with it. 5. Perfect vacation home (and, there is a reason I call it HOME).

Impossible not to LOVE.

Property is run by wonderful people! The location is beautiful, it is a perfect getaway.

The cabin is quite comfortable. It is very quiet. From the time we checked in until check out we didn’t see another person.

The bed was very very soft. It definitely needs new linen. The bedspread is quite old and stained. I would have appreciated some coffee/tea in the cabin. It is close to 1/2 hour to a store and everything was closed for Thanksgiving. The cancellation policy is very strict which it states but my Celtic Colours workshop was cancelled but my stay was non-refundable. The policy is stated so that is on me.

I loved the setting, it was lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing.

It is so peaceful and quiet. Everything is made with a lot of love. Ingo and his mom Maria are the sweetest people. Ingo gave us great ideas for cabot trail etc. Loved our stay! I recommend cottage 6 with wonderful seaview and short walk to the shore. Just bring light baggage, the car has to be parked 50 meters or so away. The other cottages have a parking space right in front.

A great place to just relax, unwind, and unplug.

I wish we had spent more time exploring the area, but that is a great reason to go back.

The host was incredibly hospitable and the location couldn’t be beat!!! It is a very serene setting, just minutes by car to the main town on Isle Madame. The cabin was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed and the waterfront access was great for both some paddling and some relaxing in the screened-in pavilion. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Vipilodge and definitely plan to return!
