Its calm and quite and highly recommended for anyone looking for a good stay with peace and away from city life. Very friendly owner and great hospitality . Every thing is well maintained and neat . The BBQ at their private lake is a dream come true for a peaceful party They have a sauna right in the middle of forest and have Kayaking and other rental options as well

The cell phone signal and wifi was a bit of a problem but that is the whole point of living away from city life

Ingo is a great host and a very friendly gentleman. He make us welcome to his cottage. A very good place for relaxation and if you like the nature as it is in the wood. Very tranquil atmosphere if you like a break from city life.

The cottages are located in a wood on a small island, and if you like a nature, that is a great place to stay. Several log houses are well separated. No TV or internet, but there is an interesting common use place with a choice of books and musical instruments and interesting collection of vintage treasures from a seabed. Sauna in the wood. The host Ingo is kind and helpful and takes great care of his guests, gave us useful recommendations on the Cabot trail. Thank you very much. Viktoria and Vlad

The hosts are welcoming, accommodating, and very respectful of your privacy. We loved experiencing nature up close at the Vipilodge. The grounds and cabins are all meticulously maintained and the private sauna was a highlight!

Cottages were amazing, super well equipped and nicely furnished! Also board games were provided (unfortunately it rained and thus we appreciate it very much!). Coffee, salt, pepper, ... and all cooking utensils were provided. Ingo (the owner) was super-friendly and super-helpful to give us needed information on everything! Highly recommended!!!
