Best place if you want to save sm money, the view is breathtaking. Please go to the lantern show, he really cares about it.

Nice big room with two double beds. Lovely view from the balcony. Woman serving us was polite and helpful Breakfast was nice The beach was lovely although there were a lot of ants

The man checking us in wasn't very friendly, short sharp answers to questions. Maybe a language barrier but smiles are universal Some of the food we tried wasn't the nicest we've had Lack of anything to do in the surrounding area, none of the other bars were serving any alcoholic drinks on a Saturday night and there wasn't much atmosphere in the restaurant area where we were staying

Perfect experience, right on the beach and beautiful view of sunset/sunrise! We stayed in the tent which it was very different experience but great! MAKE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF CASH as there is no ATM/s or they don't use the card machine, also on the island is double the price compare to mainland

Sands everywhere in the tent when we get back from the day out, tried to clean the sands off before gets in but almost impossible so that was kinda annoying a little bit

Stayed in one of the smaller rooms not the bungalows Great value room quite small but did the job for a few nights. Bed was reasonably comfy and cotton sheets. the fan worked ok could get a bit hot at times but for $10 a night you can’t complain it’s very quiet and peaceful there and the beach is nice

Would have given a higher score but I got bad food poisoning from eating at the restaurant here . I had fried rice with chicken. Some of the meat had been cooked previously and was cold so had not been re heated properly. Please make sure that you are reheating food properly if not fresh I felt awful for 4 days !!!!! The shared bathroom was also not clean and only had cold water

The people are generally kind and can help you if you approach them. They try to entertain you at night with music, fireshows and lanterns etc. The kitchen and food are fine, I ate well for around 3-5$ a meal. Other options are available at the beach. Beach/location is nice, Rafiki's (neighboring place) is a good place to eat/hang out. My tent was decent for $6 a night. A few holes here and there, but I didn't have any trouble with mosquitoes.

During my stay a number of people wake up with all kinds of bugbites/bumps. Not 100% sure if bedbugs or something else, but it's not pretty. Based on that alone I would not recommend this. Basic hygiëne is lacking. There's no hand soap in the toilet, which is unfortunate because everything is sticky. The tables, the bathrooms, even the menu's. So you constantly feel dirty and want to wash your hands. The toilets often don't flush, but you also shower in the same toilet cabin. Not nice when someone was in the bathroom before you. Bathrooms themselves are also not clean. There is a lot of trash lying under/around the tents, which no one cleans. Tent is usually hot and night, and loud boats in the bay at night will likely wake you up now and then. This place has a lot of potential and can actually be great, but it is not right now.

The location is great! Loved the evening when we all were launching lanterns at the beach with the owner. He also makes an awesome fire show that I really enjoyed! I can see how the owners do their best to make the stay of people memorable. We stayed at a bungalow and in tents. Both places were nice. A bit worn out but it was expected knowing that this was the first hotel on the coconut beach dating 14 years back. If camping is for you, It’s amazing to wake up in a tent facing the sea and hear the waves!

We had few minor inconveniences throughout our stay. Had a hard time finding common ground with the owner’s sister. She was pretty rude to us a few times. But overall the place is ok to stay.

Beautiful location, a tent on the beach shore. Sunrise 🌅 over the water, white sand, clear clean sea for swimming. 4-5 other resorts on same beach all for different budgets. Coconutbeach bungalows offers set time transfers to and from ferry for $1.50. Good restaurant. Complex family run. I was in a tent. Bed comfortable and clean.

We slept in a tent with a very big mattress and it was very comfortable. The tent was old and in a few spots was broken and fixed with some paper. But it did his job, mostly for how much we payed. The food was really nice, at least for what we ate. The toilets were not dirty, it’s just that you are in the nature. The only thing we can say it’s that there was a lot of trash around the camping, mostly plastic bottle. The amazing thing is that the camping is in a very quiet spot and it faces the sea, Cocount beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Rong.
