Dune Lodge

Great value for the accommodation. I was warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. There is free, gated parking for guests. I believe every room has balcony access and the views are spectacular. It’s in a good central location and quite walkable during the day. WiFi is fast and reliable.

No breakfast unfortunately. The staff are not 24/7, they depart at 22:00 and arrive the next morning at 09:00. If you need to leave before then, you’ll need to drop the keys off in a drop box.The rooms are lovely, although I stayed in the 4-bed mixed dormitory and the toilet and bath are inside of the room with an obscure wall of glass that doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear whenever someone goes to the bathroom and see their body outline in the shower. I’d love for them to create female only spaces, especially with the toilet situation.

Really nice staff and location. They had lots of safe parking with your own buzzer.

Looked like they were struggling as had almost no guests and looked like no funding.
