Dune Lodge

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, making my stay even more enjoyable. It’s a lovely place to stay, especially for a solo traveler, offering affordable and convenient accommodation. The location is excellent, not far from Hout Bay Beach and close to supermarkets. If you’re traveling by a car around Cape Town, it an affordable spot to base yourself

When we arrived and saw the sign "Backpacker Lodge", our expectations went down. But we got much more than we expected. There was a secured parking lot to park our rental car. The view to the beach and the bay is amazing. The stuff is very friendly. We had a family room with a big private bathroom and our own fridge. There is also a kitchen, a living room with TV and a winter garden where you can eat and get in friendly contact with other guests.

Beautiful location right on the beach and one we will definitely use again. The Lodge was busy but our room private enough and certainly a great find last-minute. Lovely staff.

Secure parking was tricky but we managed.

Great location right on the beach, laundry facilities available on site was very convenient, even though there was a fee. Staff were amazing so welcoming and friendly.

Shower in the dorm room wasn't great but really nothing to complain about
