Meadows Lodge with Hot Tub

The Lodge was so cosy and quiet. The location was great and away from all the others. Hot tub was very relaxing. Wanted to stay for longer, 2 nights was not enough.

Lovely location- very quiet but a nice short drive to Malton for food/shops. The kitchen was a good size with useful appliances. The lodge was more spacious that we thought it might be. The sight was easy to find and get around.

The lodge was just fine- the furniture was all fairly basic and not the most comfortable. It was all functional, just not overly special. The thermostat didn't seem to work- if the heating was on it was very hot, if the heating was off it was chilly (in October).

Manager was lovely, friendly and very helpful.

Accommodation was not clean, full of cobwebs, all kitchen utensils needed replacing, building ground works with diggers surrounded our accommodation all week from 7am! Not enough bedding! Put in a complaint and the manager was brilliant but couldn't find us an alternative lodge. Went back to booking.com to get money back but the York site that managers both sites would not respond to booking.com. Ended up taking them to small claims and then they refunded our money in the end but less the £70 court fee. Caused a lot of stress, disappointment and time for 4 nights holiday!!....Would not recommend 😕

Very spacious for 6 of us (4adults, 2 children) Great location - flamingoland and Malton within a short drive. Excellent value for money. Brilliant hot tub to relax in. All the facilities you need.

That is was close to flamingo land and that was the reason for going.

It was absolutely filthy when we arrived the patio area was disgusting with the table and chair covered in bird poo and the glass on the balcony surrounding the decking looked like it had never been cleaned ever, on arrival we could not get in the lodge as the key box didn’t work so the neighbours came over to help but they couldn’t so had to get the man who works there but he couldn’t fix it so had to bust it open to get the keys out. After this we found that the patio door was open then later in the night we found out that also didn’t work and was told just to leave it open when we go out which wasn’t safe at all.
