Tan-Swiss Lodge

Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr gutes Personal, ausserordentlich freundlicher Gastgeber, der sich hervorragend um alle Anliegen der Gäste kümmert. Man spürt, dass sehr viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft in diesem Hotel steckt. Die Bungalows haben alle ein Doppelbett und ein Singlebett, so dass man nicht zwischen Doppelbett oder zwei Einzelbetten wählen muss. Die Menukarte bietet auch einige typische Schweizerische Spezialitäten an, wie "Züri-Geschnetzletes mit Rösti" und natürlich auch diverse Tansanische Spezialitäten. Obwohl die ganze Anlage direkt an der sehr viel befahenen Hauptstrasse liegt, bekommt man den Lärm überhaupt nicht mit. Die Nähe zum Mikumi-Nationalpark macht den Ort ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Safaris, welche sehr unkompliziert und zuverlässig direkt im Hotel gebucht werden können, auch wenn es sich dann schliesslich um eine externe Firma handelt. Die Hotelanlage ist auch zu einem beliebten Treffpunkt für Internationale Gäste geworden und ich komme immer wieder gerne hier vorbei!

Das Gratis-WLAN-Netz kam an den Anschlag, da das Hotel ausgebucht war, was aber nicht die Schuld des Hotels ist, sondern des Mobilfunknetzes in Mikumi.

Perfect location, a nice playground for kids, tasty breakfast, and a welcome juice on arrival. We enjoyed our short stay!

There is a church or a similar venue near the hotel that plays loud music. We couldn’t fall asleep until 2 a.m., even though we were very tired from the drive.

Friendly staff and good ambience

Even though property mentioned wifi available wifi was not working in rooms and we had to go outside room to access the same. Our complaints also were not attended to

The lodge is very family/Kid friendly There is a Playground and Swimming pool for kids (that was a big bonus for our family with 2 kids) Good service by all workers made our stay memorable. Our kids loved the workers at reception, Restaurant and the swimming pool caretaker. All in all it was an amazing stay for us and we highly recommend Tan-Swiss Lodge. P.S. the food was also very good.

The Bar and Restaurant attendant should be more professional to align with standards of hospitality in tourism industry

A little luxury was expected and the place is in need of moderation It's very old fashioned and the Owner should be spending some money on good decor , it's very out of fashioned and needs upgrading in the restaurant, rooms and bathrooms too , swimming pool was good and well maintained

Travelled with Kids but facility as per family and kid is not upto the mark, Food service is not good
