DEEs fanden Bauarbeiten statt. Abgesehen von dem Baulärm, konnte die Terrasse des Restaurants nicht genutzt werden. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Aber eine Info erfolgt nicht.

The property is accessed via a 5km track that is only really suitable for 4x4. The room was very basic. Hot water in the shower was a trickle. The venue includes half board. I stayed for 2 nights - Breakfast x2 and Dinner x2 Four meals in all - 3 of which were inedible. The Manager did not know the password for guest Wi-Fi - i eventually used the Office Wi-Fi. The Manager spends the majority of her time in the main lounge/dining room/bar talking to friends etc on her phone in a very loud and extremely annoying voice. The Lodge is, I am told, used mainly as a Hunting Lodge for those who come to South Africa, mainly from the USA, to hunt and kill defenseless animals and the gross trophies of their heroic efforts adorn the walls of the main building.
