Spacious home in Bath, nature and city!

Great space, fully equipped with everything we needed. Warm and clean, lots of books, games and dvds to use if needed. Really nice place!

A little far from the centre (but this was not a problem as we drove in) The lounge was missing a pair of curtains which wasn’t ideal with someone sleeping on the sofa bed.

Everything! There wasn't a thing I didn't like. Beautiful location, fantastic property. Great garden with surprising animals visits!

Everything was perfect"

This is one of those places you remember as a highlight of the trip. It is so cozy and lovely. The bed and bedroom are really large, the kitchen very well appointed and the garden a beautiful spot to relax.

Without a car you likely will only want one trip on foot in and out of town per day which can be limiting if you want to go back to the place for a rest.

The location is 80% of what this property is all about. The other 20% is the comfort

The property needs some TLC. The side gate was difficult to get in. It's positioned on the wrong side to get in and you find out that you do need to punch the numbers hard to activate it.

The “natural” location overlooking the city!

Ed was kind, responsive and able to give a workaround to the issue we faced. The bed was very comfortable and big. Good location for access to Bath, though it is up a steep hill from Bath. The instructions provided to catch the bus back up were helpful. Cute setting with squirrels frequently running around.

The first thing, upon arrival I checked the main bed and it had obviously not had the sheets changed. There were indentations in the sheet from where someone had laid, there were hairs, and there were crumbs. One of the pillows didn't have a cover on it either. There was also a duvet for the sofa bed in the wardrobe but no cover for it either. Ed was responsive and helped me find some spare sheets and covers to make everything up new again. As a previous review has noted, the house is quaint, but a bit past it's prime. The furniture is dated and not very comfortable, the sofa bed also wasn't very comfortable either. There is mould in quite a few areas of the ceiling and bathroom, and a lot of the sheets have mould spots on them too. The tea towel that was left out felt like it had been taken out of the dryer halfway through the cycle as it was quite damp still. As mentioned, Ed was good about it, but the issues with the unchanged sheets shouldn't have occurred in the first place.

This was a very charming cottage with views over the valley. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. As we are driving we appreciated being able to leave the car in the driveway and walk through the fields into town. It is a bit of a steep walk back to the cottage, but we enjoyed the walk.

Nothing

Just like a home away from home. It really was very homely and blissfully quiet. Lovely touches and everything you need for a hassle free break. The property was very spacious for a bungalow and had a lovely little garden. Waking up to a wonderful view out of the window over Bath every morning was a joy!

It is on a steep hill so access could be a little difficult for those with mobility issues if you don’t have a car. The property is on the edge of Bath in a really picturesque setting, but this also means there is wildlife. Depending on the time of year you may find some insects or flies in the property as we did in September.

Easy access. There was an eclectic car charger on the property. The garden was nice.
