Spacious and everything I needed for a self-catering break

Warm lovely hot tub even in the rain was fantastic

Loved location, staff were great very helpful room beautiful but not practical hot tub lovely

Few issues, no wardrobe for clothes, shower tray not deep enough so floor was soaking health and safety issue , need stool or stairs to get info hot tub, bar closed, but to be fair you have not been open long so it's a learning curve

Lovely rooms, comfy beds. Hot tub fantastic. Great dog friendly place. Wonderful walks and loads of wild life.

Kitchen very small, needs more equipment ie chopping board, wooden spoons. Also some hooks for coats when wet, and wardrobe or drawers for clothes. But didn't detract from us having a great time. I think just still a work in progress.

We stayed in Squirrel Drey (2 x adults and 1 dog). The lodge was huge! Clean and tidy as well. Brilliant location. Parking on site. Very friendly staff. Everyone who was staying on site was friendly and it was nice to get to know everyone at the onsite bar! The staff at actually got us a wee glass of bubbly for our anniversary which was very sweet! Hot tub was ready for us on arrival! Wed like to come back and stay in some other lodges as each has its own different vibe! There were so many great places to walk the dog nearby.

We'd have liked some more storage! We had to kind of live out a suitcase while we were there! The back garden area isn't fenced off and unfortunately our dogs recall isn't 100% so we had to tie him to the fence while we were in the hot tub 🙈

Lovely and clean with comfy bed.

would have been good to have a fence around hot tub area and cover for if it rained.
