Villa de Taburiente

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Het huisje ligt prachtig, met een geweldig uitzicht waar je uren naar kunt kijken. Het is er heerlijk stil. Buiten eten, zwemmen en ’s avonds een indrukwekkende sterrenhemel – echt genieten. De route ernaartoe is goed te doen met de auto. De slingerende weg went snel. Tip: voer op Google Maps “Villa Valpau” in, anders kom je niet helemaal goed uit. Fijn dat Los Llanos dichtbij ligt, boodschappen zijn zo gedaan. Aanrader tijdens je verblijf: maak de wandeling in de Caldera. Parkeer je auto bij de wateroversteek en neem een taxi naar het uitzichtpunt Los Brecitos. Vanaf daar wandel je ongeveer 16 km naar beneden, terug naar je auto. Daarna ben je in vijf minuten weer bij het huisje. Wij zouden deze plek zeker aanraden als je rust, natuur en een mooi uitzicht zoekt.

Goed om te weten: één slaapkamer bereik je via buitenom. Ga je met vier personen, dan kun je ook gebruikmaken van de slaapbank in de woonkamer en de vide. Je slaapt dan wel meer bij elkaar.

Extrem und überdurchschnittlich gute Gastfreundschaft und Willkommensgeschenke in Form von einheimischen sowie zT. eigens produzierten Produkten (Obst, Gemüse, Wurst, Käse, Wein). Komplett Ausstattung an Einrichtung und Wäsche, auch Handtücher für den Pool gab's. Gästebuch zum gucken wies die andern Gäste fanden und was sie erlebt/unternommen haben. Sehr beruhigende und künstlerische/ liebevolle Einrichtung authentisch/passend zum Gebäude und dem Außenbereich, fühlte sich fast an wie in einem richtigen Haus und keinem Ferienhausstil also wohlfühlen....

Falls irgendwo ein normaler Kleiderschrank mit zwei Türen realisierbar zusätzlich wäre, wäre das sehr schön gewesen für Aufenthalte ab 14 Tagen wenn man gerne auspackt und die Koffer versteckt vor allem wenn man nicht so gross ist. Es gab viele Truhen, Sideboards, Hängeschränke mit genügend Platz für die Kleidung und Ausrüstung fürs Wandern, damit kamen wir als grössere Leute aber auch gut zurecht, war nur ungewohnt sich Strecken per bücken zu müssen aber hatte man sich wiederum schnell dran gewöhnt.;)

We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely villa. Tucked away in a remote valley (about 15 minutes to Los Llanos), it offers absolute calmness and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It’s the perfect relaxing atmosphere if you want to completely switch off. The villa itself is perfectly located right at the entry of Caldera de Taburiente, making it ideal for exploring. The house is incredibly well-equipped—you’ll find everything you need, from cooking gear to an iron. The owners are absolutely lovely and generous. While they don't speak English, communication was seamless using Google Translate. They went above and beyond, providing a bottle of red wine and various kinds of fresh food in the fridge and outside—a truly fantastic welcome! A quick note on nature: Because the villa is deep in the valley, in nature, you might encounter a gecko or some small ants occasionally inside the house. We personally didn't mind, as it's part of the remote experience, but it’s worth being aware of.

In the morning of our last two days we experienced a power out. When we got back at the end of the day power worked again. Can't say if this is a regular thing.

Úžasná lokalita. Naprosté soukromí, klid, ticho, nádherná příroda. Bazén s nádherným výhledem. Vše potřebné vybavení bylo k dispozici. Zpestření pro děti - spolubydlící ještěrky 😁 Spousta pěších tras po blízkém okolí. Majitel nám nechal nějaké místní jídlo v lednici, pečivo, ovoce a víno jako dárek na přivítání, bylo to moc milé. (Jen majitel nemluví vůbec anglicky, tak je třeba s tím počítat). Na místě není téměř signál, jen WiFi, ale když vypne proud, tak nemáte nic.

Špatně označené umístění vily, na Google mapách najdete jako Villa Valpau. Pozor na spotřebu elektřiny, pokud je zataženo. Dva poslední dny jsme byli bez elektřiny, protože bylo pod mrakem a nedobíjel solár. Ikdyz jsme se snažili hodně šetřit, ve chvíli, kdy se baterka trochu dobila se spustil bazén a baterky opět zhasly. Tak jen na tohle pozor. Každopádně ubytování je bezkonkurenční.

Property is set in a superb setting with amazing views and walks into the national park from the doorstep. It really is the ideal spot if you are looking to get away from it all. The owner also left a very generous contribution of food in the fridge which was very nice.

There was nothing that we didn't like, but visitors should be aware that a hire car is a must and there is a steep climb to get to the property.
