Saguamby Mindo Lodge

We had one of the suites that overlooked the river and it was absolutely magical. The room had everything you could want and all you could hear was the sound of the water. The breakfast was the best we had anywhere in Ecuador, very filling, different everyday and absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Enid and Xavier. There are lots of activities they can attange and both the birdwatching with Peter and the visit to the butterfly park nearby (25 min enjoyable walk) were well worth doing.

A really gorgeous property with an excellent breakfast. The room felt like a giant treehouse, complete with a hammock on the balcony! Very peaceful and serene place to unwind in Mindo. The restaurant food was delicious, and the included breakfast was amazing (and filling!).

Personnel was so helpful and kind. We got upgraded to the superior suite next to the river, I must say this was a magical place. You can open all the curtains and wake up between the trees. De view is spectacular, and important: river was kept clean. Breakfast was delicious and a lot :) I could have stayed here a week :)

It was very welcome place where it is surrounded by nature and is located close to the main places where you can do several outdoor activities.

Lack of A/C
