Amazing view from the balcony and very helpful and friendly host. In addition, great homemade breakfast!

I chose this place based on the reviews which praised the location. This is unbeatable, once you have arrived. It's a long rough off-road track and the house is not well sig posted. It took us a while finding it. The garden with the apple trees is fantastic. We had a nice balcony view across both valleys and the mountains each side. We stayed a week and at the end even enjoyed a culture festival organised by the art centre opposite. The room was very clean. Claudiu is a very friendly and kind host. He helped us with anything we didnt find and even made us cherry cake. You can ask Claudiu to provide breakfast and dinner, however, we didnt eat at the house and cant comment on this. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and this place does offer value for money.

The drain in the shower was blocked. After someone had a shower, the water didnt drain and it became very slippery for the next one. The advert is slighly misleading re. kitchen facilities. There is no fully equipped kitchen, just a single stove top in the corner of the hall way. Also no mugs, cups, but a few plates. Also no mini bar as in the description. We dont need a minibar, but maybe it could be misleading for other. Be prepared for simplicity, the place does have charm, but the rooms did lack a bit of a 'female touch'.

It made me feel like the times I used to visit my grandparents'' ranch in rural areas where there was a long dirty road to get there. It was an adventurous experience. Claudiu was waiting for us, even though we arrived quite late (21:30) after 7 hours on the road.

- Extraordinary location in the nature - Great host which was more than kind and helpful to satisfy our requests - Delicious dinner and breakfast in the nature - Simple but very cosy rooms with all the necessary facilities - Nature in Magura is absolutely breathtaking. It's totally worth visiting Magura and enjoy the nature and peace of mind.

- As a minus I would say that the road is quite difficult to reach Magura and this facility, as it is a medium to hard difficulty offroad/forest road. There are no paved road portions until the house. This is an advantage though. as not anybody can get there. We reached the place with an adventure touring motorcycle, but if somebody wants to get there by car consider a 4x4 oriented vehicle. - There are no supermarkets in the area, therefore come prepared. Claudiu has also everything you need to prepare a great meal and provide simple drinks such as beers, home made lemonade, etc. He was more than helpful to prepare us some great meals to satisfy our appetite.

Claudiu went above and beyond with us. He rescued us when we got stuck, helped repair our car and was just so lovely! He was the perfect host. The property itself was small and just right for our family. We all enjoyed the views and being in nature.

The road leading up to the property was a bit bumpy! And our advice is to use Google maps rather than Apple Maps!

The view is wonderful around the house. The host was very friendly. There is the possibility to order some food, which is made by the host and is delicious.

There are 2 variants someone can get there. The one which starts in Zărnești is longer but better in terms of the road. Some mosquito nets would be useful. :)
