Casa Claudiu

It has beautiful views and good internet. Some farm animals around to hang with.

Magura is a lovely place up in the mountains, and a great base for walking and exploring. Claudiu is a nice young man who seems to look after the place on his own, including caring for a cow and calf, and a pig which eats the leftovers. There are three double rooms in the establishment, with a small cooking facility and a fridge.

The room was quite small and the mattress not very substantial. The shower produced hot water, but water leaked into the toilet area. The menu was a bit limited, with the only dinner option being the traditional meal of bulz - cheese underneath a substantial helping of polenta, and a fried egg on top.

The property is located at the top of a hill and offers you a very beautiful view. Also, I think the host is one of the kindest I've ever met. he is a respectful person who always makes sure that everything is in order and always asks if we need anything. For a full country side experience I recommend this property.

I liked everything. Nothing to complain about.

Claudius place has a good location a bit outside of Magura village with stunning views. We enjoyed the animals at his property a lot as they were roaming freely around.

There could have been more benches or common chilling areas. The beds were a bit uncomfortable.

The view, the animals around the house and the pure Romanian country lifestyle.

The last 4 km of the road from Moieciu de Jos are not good and is hard to make it daily if you want to visit more places in the other villages. It’s a good place to go and stay there for few days and return at the end of the trip.
