Beautifully situated with a superb view of the lake. Extremely comfortable, this is a very elegant B&B with generous and kind hosts.

The location was phenomenal, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The delicious breakfast menu offered a ton of options. Hosts Sarah and John were incredibly hospitable, providing us with numerous suggestions for places to visit and dine. I highly recommend High Leys Lodge for anyone considering a stay in Te Anau!

Just the most incredible stay. It felt like paradise, but it also felt like home due to the hospitality and incredible efforts from the hosts to make it so. Could not recommend High Leys more and I won’t be looking anywhere else next time I’m down to attack Kepler :)

Top notch property with beautiful lake view, very clean, excellent service and home made breakfast every day.

The house and grounds were immaculate. We were so well looked after and made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We had unexpected evening drinks and nibbles, a lovely treat. The breakfast was amazing, especially the home baked croissants and pancakes. The views from the house are breathtaking and you can very easily stare off into the distance for hours on end. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were fantastic, even had heated floors. Our hosts were very knowledgeable of the are and had maps to note suggests of spots to visit in the area specific to our needs.

We are used to sound so a pedestal fan would have been helpful to aid in our quality of sleep. This is very minor and the only thing we would suggest.
