Mantadia Lodge Andasibe

The setting was perfect, the room was at a very high standard, with a private patio area and wonderful shower that had a view of the rainforest beyond. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool added another element to relaxing

The food in the restaurant was good but choice was quite limited, a single menu for lunch and dinner each day. After two days we were struggling to find something we wanted. It was also pricier than other local hotel restaurants.

The food was excellent. Prices quite high for this country but not compared with other countries. Room very light and airy, clean and comfortable. King size bed with thick memory foam topper. Good size TV.

These are not real complaints just suggestions…. 1. Our room said Mountain View but was blocked by undergrowth in front of garden area. Some trimming would easily create a gap for every chalet to see the hills in front 2. Breakfast: The full buffet is fantastic if you will make use of it but not if you did not need so much food. We were told we could have coffee and bread for half the price but that sounded too limited. Actually it was possible to get fruit and crepes with coffee. So it would help to have a description on breakfast menu of other choices, just bread and omelette for example, or just fruit with cereal and yoghurt, or crepes and fruit, like a ‘half menu’ 3. Pool is fine but needs it own small toilet/ changing room instead walking back to room or through spa reception (no hand basin)

Great find in Andasibe. Lovely and modern facilities with AC in the rooms. Great views and comfortable beds. Restaurant has limited options and is expensive, but other than that great find. Staff is excellent.

Good location to your the Andasibe National park. Good restaurant and bar. Friendly service.

Room could have been furnished better

The staff was very friendly and the location is beautiful.

the property was clean and comfortable but had no authenticity or character, it felt like the only place I experienced in Mada that could have been popped up from an ikea catalogue

I got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant. the food was the most expensive that I have had in Mada and it was also the most tasteless. It felt like a waste at the time and when I woke up being sick at 2am I really wished I had just eaten elsewhere. The staff got me some meds to calm my stomach in the morning but there was no apology and I was surprised that they didn’t even offer to knock anything off of the bill for the meal.
