Included breakfast was excellent. Location very good for other attractions such as Landmark and the Highland Wildlife Park and Highland Folk Museum. Restaurant food in general was very good, as was the pool, which has a large slide and a wave- machine. The lodge was very warm and comfortable too.

The service in some of the restaurants was a little slow. The ice- rink was crowded and numbers should perhaps be limited. There were also wildly different standards of skater, which could be dangerous in such a small space.

The. Eds were comfy

No firewood provided, some of the heaters didn’t work, upon arrival our lodge door was wide open and there were leaves all over the floor.

Location is good, close to the high street and there are a lot of facilities for children albeit they’ve seen better days!

Everything is incredibly dated - the decor, the bedding, the changing faculties at the pool. Doesn’t look like it’s been touched since the ‘90’s. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was all incredibly basic. Especially for the price.

Very good location, plenty of space for six people. Very clean, tucked away nicely in the woodland

The property was getting very tired, kitchen was starting to fall to bits and the carpet on the stairs was worn through. The water pressure was very poor.

Surroundings and activities

Asked for a cot prior to arriving. Called reception. Still no cot luckily the baby slept in a bed.

Long walk for one person who had mobility problems having to check in then get cases to lodge. Could do with a bag drop for people with mobility issues as we came on train
