Sun and Green Eco Lodge - Dambulla

Sehr herzliche Gastfamilie. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit bemüht die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Toller Pool. Schöne Zimmer.

We stayed in a cute wooden eco hut that overlooked the pool. We were pre-warned about noise levels from road, does get a little noisy at times but ok. Pool was clean and a good way to refresh after activities. Food was amazing, the dinners offered were the best Sri Lankan food we had out for our whole trip. Hosts were so friendly and also helpful with transport, organising tours and safaris. Would definitely stay again.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au sein de cet hôtel. L'emplacement est très pratique pour visiter la ville. . L'accueil est irréprochable et la piscine très agréable. Nous y avons dîné et c'était très copieux et excellent. Merci !

Het was een fijn hotel met heerlijke tuin en prachtig zwembad. 1 van onze kamers was een leuk huisje op palen. De gastheer heeft ons vaak ergens naar toe gereden, en zijn vrouw verzorgde een heerlijk ontbijt, en rice and curry in de avond. Een fijne plek.

Het ligt wat verder uit het centrum. In de buurt zijn een paar kleine restaurants. Het is wat gehorig door verkeer van de weg.

בעלי המקום מצוינים, אדיבים ונחמדים. עזרו לנו עם מונית במחיר ממש טוב והאוכל היה מצוין!

L’accueil (le couple est très accueillant, ils ont cherché à nous faire découvrir leurs spécialités Le mari avec son véhicule nous a permis de découvrir des sites touristiques et d’autres moins mais tout aussi passionnants et le tout pour un prix très raisonnable. Nous les recommandons à 100%

De gastvrijheid

De kamer aan kant van het benzinestation rook erg naar benzine. Waarschijnlijk omdat de airconditioning aan die kant zat.

The standard double room doesn't meet the hotel theme and is in need of a bit of care. Tea/coffee station would be a great addition

The cottage is fine. Simply furnished but spacious enough, with a fan, good air conditioning, and a hot shower. The separate room is clean and basic, also with good air conditioning and a hot shower. The beds aren’t very large but they are comfortable. Breakfast is okay – toast and pancakes, so a bit Western-oriented. Dinner is very good (and they even serve beer! :-) ). There’s a nice swimming pool and it’s in a good location as a base for visiting nearby sights. There are some fruit stalls, small shops, and a few restaurants in the area. The value for money is excellent.

You can hear the road quite clearly, at least in the wooden cottage. In the cottage, we missed some hooks and, for example, a stool for our bag. It could feel a bit more like ‘glamping’. The sun loungers don’t have cushions, so they’re a bit uncomfortable. I’m not sure what’s ‘eco’ besides the huts themselves, but it’s a pleasant place with super friendly owners and, as mentioned before, the value for money is excellent.
