We had such a lovely stay! We were welcomed by the owner’s nephew – super nice, friendly, and spoke perfect English. He was very professional and handled everything perfectly, making us feel immediately at ease. His aunt was absolutely adorable – every morning she would prepare the most amazing coconut roti for me… they were out of this world! I’m still waiting for the video of the recipe, hehe 😄 They also arranged a super cute and friendly tuk tuk driver, who was always on time and extremely helpful. It made getting around so easy and fun! A truly warm and authentic experience, with wonderful people, delicious food, and great local support. Absolutely recommended!

Stanze grandi e pulite. La struttura è immersa nel verde e la piscina è grande e pulita. La famiglia che fa da staff è davvero molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione e la cena sono state sempre ottime e molto abbondanti, cucinate in casa con cura e attenzione. Complimenti anche a Ravi che cura il servizio, sempre gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualita/prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

Super nette Familie und ein tolles Frühstück. Zimmer sehr sauber. Lage etwas außerhalb von Habarana aber mit einem Spaziergang oder dem tuk tuk gut zu erreichen und dafür unheimlich ruhig. Wir durften sogar den ganz neu angelegten Pool benutzen.

Tutto. La struttura nuovissima, camere ampie e spaziose nonché pulitissime. Vorrei fare un piccolo ringraziamento al personale che ci ha accolto. La colazione preparata ogni giorno con una cura e un’attenzione costante. La gentilezza e la disponibilità di Ravi è stata davvero fuori dall’ordinario.

nice spacious room with porch facing the beautiful garden and pool. Property is run by very welcoming and nice family. We were warmly greeted. Very good breakfast, but too much for us, and they changed it according to our wishes. Also they arranged for us jeep safari in Minerya national park (as per their advice due to elephant's path) and we saw a lot of those incredible animals. Special thanks to Ravi - family member who speaks very good English and advised us for many things.

The place is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature! What we recommend the most, beyond the beauty of the location and the comfort of the spacious and clean room, is the kindness of the hosts! They were really welcoming – we had the chance to taste typical dishes prepared for dinner (rice and kotthu), and they kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us at dawn before we left for Sigiriya. Rovi, the guy, was really kind – he spoke English well and helped us communicate with his family. Thank you again!

Manike Lodge was lovely. The family were amazing hosts and cooked delicious local food. WiFi was excellent and AC was perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Very clean and modern style. No bugs in the room which was nice. Run by very nice family though they don’t speak much English. Nice local breakfast Good AC and internet .

A bit far from the main area, pick me was not always working which was frustrating but the owners arranged for me a tuk tuk. The front part (pool area) is going through renovations but it did not bother me since there was no noice from that

Manike Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The family that runs the lodge are incredibly kind and welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious with lovely views over the garden (which is full of birdlife and the occasional monkey) from the balcony. The meals at the property are delicious and as vegetarians, we were very well catered for. The hosts are very helpful in organising local safaris and visits to Sigiriya and other sights in the area, all for reasonable prices. Overall, our favourite place we have stayed in Sri Lanka so far!
