Very clean and modern style. No bugs in the room which was nice. Run by very nice family though they don’t speak much English. Nice local breakfast Good AC and internet .

A bit far from the main area, pick me was not always working which was frustrating but the owners arranged for me a tuk tuk. The front part (pool area) is going through renovations but it did not bother me since there was no noice from that

Manike Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The family that runs the lodge are incredibly kind and welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious with lovely views over the garden (which is full of birdlife and the occasional monkey) from the balcony. The meals at the property are delicious and as vegetarians, we were very well catered for. The hosts are very helpful in organising local safaris and visits to Sigiriya and other sights in the area, all for reasonable prices. Overall, our favourite place we have stayed in Sri Lanka so far!

A calm oasis, near the centre of Habarana, with large comfortable rooms and a lovely garden outlook. This is effectively a homestay, with the hosts living in the adjacent house. Breakfast and (on request) dinner is served on their verandah. The hosts are very charming and helpful (will do your washing on request) and the son speaks good English. It's about 2.5km to the lake and to many of the better local restaurants, so count on a bit of walking, or a few tuk tuk rides (note that the adjacent road is not well lit). Recommended.

Run by wonderful family, husband and wife with 2 son whom speak English very well. Branch new modern building, spacious room clean, beautiful room & bath room, comfortable King size bed with good quality of linen. it was most comfortable stayed in Srilangka. The kindness of the staffs and family made my stay more enjoyable.

Helpful staff, they provided us tuktuk for trips and to the city centre (but tuk tuk was overprized). Very good local breakfast. Quit location.

Room was very dirty! When we arrive it was obvious that nobody clean it for weeks. It was full of ants, spiders with nests, frogs and gecons. A lot of dust in bed. Bathroom was dirty too. There is no shower gel and shampoo (only soap), no reception 24/7 as is mentioned in description.

The room was big, light and clean. The owners were really nice and helpfull.
